Dashboard and Web Parts

The feature allows you to enable Web parts and customize home screens. You can:

Customize web parts based on the credentials of a specific user or role.
Customize the home screen based on need
Increase the business productivity with customization

Lists Views

This feature enables you to display different views of list items for different resources. You can view lists based on filtering and grouping criteria.

Embedded Form Control in Forms

The aim of the Embedded Form in Forms Architecture is to provide reusability of pre- designed forms. This will provide the user an option to use entire form as a part of another form. This will benefit users in scenarios where users are developing many forms and have certain common sections for each form. Users can now design the common section in a Form and use them in each form through Embedded Form.

Integration with database driven external systems is made easy

Database Activity is a an activity added to the set of engine activities. The database activity enables execution of queries, stored procedures and functions from the workflow. This activity establishes connection with the database server and performs actions to retrieve or update data in the database. This activity will fetch the schema of the database table to an XML variable according to a query, stored procedure or functions passed.

Skelta Service Monitoring

Skelta Service Monitoring ensures greater reliability of the product at run time. This feature prevents memory overruns and ensures that processes are always running.

Comprehensively manage workflow exception behavior

The workflow designer can decide the exception behavior. This feature enables you to mark the workflow as â€œFinished with Errorsâ€ if the specified output for the current activity is not linked to the next activity; or trigger an Error Encountered output.

Consume WCF Services in workflows

This feature enables you to enhance the capability of the Skelta Object Access (SOA) integration with the WCF web services. A rule specified in a WCF web service can be executed in Skelta BPM workflows. The existing SOA architecture is enhanced to support the WCF service.

Usability Enhancements with Work Items and Queues

Skelta BPM 2011 ensures better usability and enhanced navigation with Work items and Queues.

Import Business Process Models from Microsoft Visio 2010

This feature enables you to import Business Process Models from Microsoft Visio 2010

The IT Pearls BPMN Stencil for Microsoft Visio from ITP-Commerce adds process modeling functionality to Visio. Business Analysts can use this familiar tool to model their business processes and export them as XML files, which in turn can be used in applications that automate those processes. Skelta BPM 2011 now has a provision to import and integrate the process models exported from Microsoft Visio 2010 using IT Pearls BPMN Stencil for Microsoft Visio and execute them.

Integration with SharePoint 2010

Skelta BPM is equipped to communicate with SharePoint 2010 foundation & server, which in turn enables routing of Skelta BPM workflows with contents and events available for SharePoint 2010.

Initialize Variables in Start of an Activity

Users will have an option to initialize variables at the start of an activity. Users have an option of executing workflows with prefilled values without having to update default values repetitively.

Popup Form Control in Forms

The aim of the Popup Form in Forms Architecture is to provide reusability of pre designed forms. This will provide the user an option to show entire form as a popup. This will benefit users in scenarios where users are developing many forms and have certain common sections for each form and want to show them as popup. Whatâ€™s more, users will also derive performance advantage when the controls are moved from source form to popup form.

Collaboration using Invoke Form Activity

This feature allows you to collaborate with an individual actorâ€™s responses by using the Invoke Form activity. A new property named Collaborate Responses in Output Instance XML is introduced for the Invoke form activity. You can configure this property only when the activity has multiple actors and individual actorâ€™s responses are to be stored as a collection in output instance XML.

You can now collaborate to create forms while also ensuring multiple responses from different respondents are captured on a single form. Skelta BPM 2011 takes collaboration to the next level.

Easy Exception Mail Template Configuration

It is possible to create exception mail templates in case an exception occurs in process execution. Whatâ€™s more, one can select from a large set of pre-defined exception templates. These exception templates can be used at all levels of a workflow.

Moving an item to a list folder using List Navigator Activity

This feature allows you to move an item to a list folder. In addition, Skelta BPM 2011 provides for better navigation for moving items to the folder and querying items inside the folder.
