Hi,
After checklist activity you can use an Update Variable activity to set a value for the variable. The Update Variable activity is available under Engine Activities category in process designer.

Hi,

The Update Variable activity has a mandatory property called "Set Variable" that is under the group "Configuration" in the Action properties of the Update variable activity. This property allows the user to specify the values for variables.

Thanks & Regards,
Sameena

Hi,

If the requirement is to assign the answer from the checklist question to the variable declared in the Start activity, please follow the steps given below:

1.       Declare variables of type string in the Start activity.

2.       All string variables will display as drop-down-list as you create the questions in the Checklist item.

3.       Select the variable in which you want to store the answer of selected question.

4.       Save configurations.

Yeah, Only variables of type string will be displayed in the drop-down list or can be mapped with checklist answers.
