| My friends,
As I was thinking for a long time to contribute something different to Skelta's business on BPM, I have come up with the idea of Skelta API Service (SaS). This is a framework built on WCF and .NET framework 3.5 provides reusable BPM interface for getting the most common Skelta functionalities (e.g. invoking workflow, getting user productivity data etc.) and has the capability of providing data in most common platform independent dataformats like XML,JSON,CSV,TSV,RSS,ATOM. Even we can create custom dataformat other than these formats using SaS framework's custom formatter interface. This framework even supports REST style services along with normal SOAP based services.
I think,this framework will give an boost in Skelta's BPM.NET product by reducing development cycle time of repeating the same code and meets the global client requirements of cross platforms(other than Microsoft Technology) BPM.NET integration with their products. The SaS can also be customized as per client's requirement. This may attract businesses of Web based product (like in emerging Web 2.0 or Enterprise 2.0 based applications). Microsoft Live, Google, Amazon etc. are the few to be mentioned stressing on easy to use (reuse) API development.
